Upcoming Events at the Religious School

There are always new and exciting events for our students and their families at the Religious School.  Check this page regularly for important programs!

Ruach Shabbat

During Ruach Shabbat, students celebrate with all the children in their grade and become part of the service, too. When the service ends, they can join Rabbi Alex on the bimah in the main sanctuary for a treat!

Ruach Shabbat services are held in a Religious School classroom, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm Shabbat morning.

  • October 21 – 3rd grade
  • October 28 – 4th grade
  • December 2 – 3rd grade
  • January 13 – 5th grade
  • February 3 – 4th grade
  • March 3 – 5th grade

Simchat Shabbat

During Simchat Shabbat, students will join in a musical Friday night service.

Simchat Shabbat services are held in the main sanctuary at 6:30 pm Friday evening.

  • November 10 – 5th grade
  • December 8 – 4th and 6th grades
  • January 12 – Kindergarten through 3rd grade
  • February 9 – 5th and 6th grades
  • March 9 – 3rd and 6th grades
  • April 13 – 4th and 4th grades

Vav Shabbat

Vav Shabbat is held in the small sanctuary at 10:00 am Shabbat morning.

During Vav Shabbat, the sixth grade students will engage in Tefillah and Torah study.

Tot Shabbat Services

Tot Shabbat services are a great way to get little kids excited about Shabbat!  Services include music and singing, a hands-on Torah service, and a kids kiddush. When the service ends, kids can join Rabbi Alex on the bimah in the main sanctuary for a treat!

Tot Shabbat services are held in a Religious School classroom, 10:30 – 11:30 am on Shabbat morning.
