Students in Kindergarten through 6th grade will engage in the Shabbat Morning experience approximately twice a month from 10:00-12:00 pm. Students will be divided into appropriate age groupings and will create a Shabbat experience with their peers that is age and developmentally appropriate. Simchat Shabbat
Simchat Shabbat is a musical welcoming of the Sabbath, one Friday a month, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Friday night. In class, students prepare to lead selected prayers during Shabbat, and they enjoy sitting together as a group, participating in the spirited Shabbat hymns, and leading the congregation in the prayers they have mastered in class. A social Oneg Shabbat follows the service. Classes are assigned Simchat Shabbat dates and attendance is required. Parents accompany their children to Simchat Shabbat services.

Young Family Shabbat Services
Young Family Shabbat services are a great way to get little kids excited about Shabbat! Services include music and singing, a hands-on Torah service, and a kids kiddush. When the service ends, kids can join Rabbi Alex on the bimah in the main sanctuary for a treat!
Young Family Shabbat services are held in a Religious School classroom, 10:30 – 11:30 am on Shabbat morning.
